Student Testimonials and Letters of Appreciation

Below are a few unsolicited writings and “Letters of Appreciation” written by a few of my current and former students regarding their experiences of training under my direction for both college-level coursework and CPA preparation and review. For the most part, these writings are largely unedited with the exception of an occasional correction of a spelling error and/or punctuation error correction…

Professor Andrew Rosz, CPA is an exemplary mentor. He is an experienced Certified Public Accountant with an amazing professional accounting career and background that supports all of his knowledge transfer when you get accepted into his personalized one-on-one executive mentorship program. Professor Rosz has dedicated his life to teaching accounting and training accounting executives in the more technical aspects of the profession. His immense experience into teaching goes well beyond the accounting objectivity and subjectivity that needs to be applied within my career as an accountant as he is an excellent motivator with a very optimistic approach into real life experiences. From the moment I got accepted into his mentorship program, both my life and perspective toward career growth has dramatically changed regarding my career path. I now feel more confident and prepared for each and every situation I might encounter; both in and out of the job field as he continuously prepares me to approach each and every new task with professionalism and extensive knowledge. He also makes me truly believe that I can confront and succeed at any situation presented. Professor Rosz, has a complete and total understanding of the accounting world and has accordingly prepared and documented a very detailed and structured teaching system that sustains and supports his mentorship program. A teaching methodology that encompasses accounting, ethics, audit, regulation, tax, and financial reporting in making sure that I do in fact understand every single aspect of the accounting world on each and every step of the way. And he does not try to rush any aspect until the topic is completely dominated and understood by his students. So, in that sense, you become totally prepared not only to achieve your CPA license and pass all four parts of the exam, but to also become an exemplary professional and get to the top of your career goals; whether it is becoming a seasoned CPA, Corporate Controller, VP of Finance, or CFO for any type of company in any type of field. Under Professor Rosz’s direction, I have now developed my technical accounting skills and knowledge base with surpassed confidence to a level that I am now looking for new executive opportunities in my chosen accounting career where there are no possible challenges that could be presented to me that I could not fulfill. My time under Professor Rosz’s mentorship program has not only developed me into a much more capable professional, but has also taught me to take a more comprehensive approach when presented with challenging situations; an approach that could only have be achieved once you enter Professor Rosz’s program and start becoming more organized, knowledgeable, patient, professional, and open to learning the science and art of the accounting profession from an executive perspective. He not only teaches and mentors me on the accounting profession, but also to do things in a very ethical manner and to become a better professional and a great asset for any organization at the executive level where my contribution to the company would be reflected positively in the “bottom line” results of its financial information and ongoing company growth. I feel very fortunate to have been accepted in Professor Rosz’s CPA mentorship program. And although I waited 9 months on his waiting list to be accepted into his program, the wait was definitely worthwhile as I have teamed up with perhaps the only mentor in South Florida who provides this remarkable knowledge transfer approach that is guaranteed to make you not only an exceedingly better accountant, but also an indispensable asset to any organization due to the knowledge, objectivity and ethical principles he instills in you during each and every lesson he teaches. Under Professor Rosz’s mentorship program, I have since acquired a wealth of accounting knowledge that is available for me to use at any moment. As from his teachings, he helps you to create a structured reference binder, step by step, and this reference binder has become my go-to research and go-to consulting and memory-refreshing source as his primary teaching goal is for you to keep the accounting profession core material documented in such a way that will accompany me through my entire career as a professional accountant. I highly recommend Professor Rosz’s CPA mentorship program as it is a one-of-a kind learning process toward becoming a better and more-qualified accounting professional, and an even better individual that could contribute to the professional accounting world of today. Last but not least, his one-on-one teaching approach has become instrumental into making sure I dominate and master each and every topic discussed before advancing to the next topic, and that can only be achieved with a personal and individual approach to your needs, requirements, strengths and weaknesses; analyzed from his perspective on a professional level, which makes for a guaranteed learning process at a high level. The family environment, certainty and security I feel when attending my classes has surpassed any expectations that I had set up at the beginning as Professor Rosz is a very family-oriented professional that advises you on each aspect of your life and every professional situation you might be encountering at the moment; and notwithstanding, that alone that has been a game changer for me. He even lets you play with “Misty,” his wonderful, “white as snow” Maltese puppy that eagerly greets you at the door each time you go to your scheduled classes, and that personal human touch to me is priceless. After greeting you, Misty then obediently settles in to her bed in the accounting classroom during each appointment, and to say that Misty knows more about accounting than each and every one of us, is probably an understatement. I am very glad and very proud - to say the least, that I have joined the best accounting mentorship program where many prominent CFOs of today’s global corporations have also attended, thus reassuring me I am being mentored by one of the very best accounting professionals available today. And the facts speak for themselves when you share in the same education and mentoring program as some of today’s CFOs of multibillion dollar corporations of the world, you know Professor Rosz, CPA mentorship program really works wonders in preparing you to excel in the most amazing profession there is… accounting, and also to become a better individual for life in general. Respectfully,

The South Florida CPA Exam Review Program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity in the CPA exam review space. To call it an exam review is not giving the instructor, Andrew Rosz, or the materials enough credit as it is like comparing a finely tuned professional athlete to a weekend warrior. If you are one of the chosen few that Mr. Rosz deems worthy to have time on his calendar, your outlook on life (both professional and personal) will have the opportunity to be elevated to a level that only a select few, the 1%, ever have the chance to reach. My journey with Mr. Rosz started almost 5 years ago as I was looking to take the next step in a young career and thought that a CPA would be the way to get there. I had tried and been unsuccessful; in using other “review” programs and had thought that having in-person lessons would be the way to achieve my goal. Initially the process of trying to get a time on his calendar was difficult, as I was working full time and did not have the flexibility for later time slots, but eventually I was able to secure a Sunday Slot, which later changes into weekday mornings. However, the review prep mentality of study for a few hours and then take the test quickly was my modus operandi when Andrew first met me and it was imperative that he reprogram my thinking of what I was embarking on. The journey is not a quick thing if one expects (as I did) to be able to finish it in months instead of years they are extremely mistaken. But there is hope if you are able to make the switch in thinking. After being in the program, for about a year, and making progress on a complete and extremely detailed binder of reference materials (this binder will be with you for the remainder of your professional career) I begun to realize that the program is not only about passing the CPA Exam. Andrew’s knowledge base to teach CPA/Accounting is second to none, but even more is his ability to see potential in his students that they might not see in themselves. He subscribes to the whole person mentality and as a teacher he believes it is his job to not only make better accountants but instead to better the individual on the personal level. I had found someone, outside of my immediate family, who believed in me; I had found a mentor.  His mentorship and the belief that I was something special became infectious and I soon found it flowing into all facets of not only my professional career but my personal life as well. Like I said earlier, this is not a quick process (I am going on five years) but what you are given if you are deemed worthy is something that you cannot buy really insight into the CFO brain. Andrew is a legit CFO and while the program is tailored to working at the speed of the individual, there have been some slight detours to important self-improvement topics with insight that only a successful CFO can bring. These topics have included (but are not limited to) resume building, interviewing (both from the job seeker and manager perspectives), meeting etiquette and presentations, growth in analytical and reasoning skills, and finally self-confidence. His breathe of knowledge of the aforementioned topics help position his students to advance their careers to a level that might not have been at the forefront of our minds (I myself am looking in the next 3-5 years to land a high-level C-Suite position and it will be because of the lessons I learned with Andrew). Since Andrew is extremely selective as to whom he works with, if you are reading this memo, he has deemed that you have potential. Remember, this is a marathon and not a sprint and I look forward to potentially meeting you (potential student) in the future.

I felt lost and now I know I found my way through my CPA tutor. Andrew Rosz has become my CPA tutor but also my life mentor. Who would have thought that one of the most important people in my life would be my CPA exam review mentor? I needed help in my Consolidation Class in my Masters of Accounting, and a friend recommended Andrew. It was a process getting a hold of him but I persisted on calling him until I finally got a tutor session. When I finally got a scheduled appointment time, I even had to convince my work to change my schedule on Fridays to accommodate my tutor sessions. I am usually not the kind of person that requests special accommodations from work but I knew that Andrew was one of a kind and that his teaching would be worth it. I was right since I have been going to see Andrew, the company I work for recognize my value instead of me struggling to show them my value. I think the most important thing I have learned going to Andrew is the confidence I have now in the knowledge of accounting and life in general. I have become an Asset in the companies I work for instead of doubting if I was a liability or an asset. As far as the technical skills of accounting I am still filling in the gaps by continuing my tutor sessions and plan on staying with Andrew for as long as he continues to teach me. How I see Andrews’ teaching is that he polishes every student until they become a Diamond. He focuses on each individual to fill in the gaps of our accounting knowledge. A mastery of accounting is like a puzzle that can only be complete if you know all the pieces involved.  Andrew has helped me fill in those gaps in my accounting knowledge that I hadn’t realized I even had. For instance, I thought a credit was just a credit on the right hand of a T-Account. Now I know that was one definition out of four definitions of a credit.  The accounting you learn with Andrew is the only way that I know one day I will pass the CPA exam. Before Andrew I wasn’t too sure that I would pass. My background is a 3.7 GPA, in my undergrad in accounting and 3.9 GPA, in my masters in accounting. With Deans list and high honor’s society I still didn’t feel like it was enough to pass the CPA but now with the knowledge I receive from Andrew I know I will pass my CPA exam.  Within months of starting my review program with Andrew people at work started noticing a difference in me. I started having a confidence in my accounting knowledge and people started asking me what is different about you? One lady at work even said that I was going to outgrow the company within the year. I have accomplished many goals since I have started with Andrew: 1) I passed my NALA Paralegal Certification 2) I have completed my Masters in Accounting 3) I am now in the process of completing my Supreme Court mediation certification 4) In the process of completing my CPA exam. My work constantly praises me for the great work I do in my job that is part of how much more confidence I have in myself. As far as the knowledge that Andrew has in accounting is indescribable, he has a love for accounting and it shows. He has all the answers you need for accounting and even life questions.  Andrew knows his students very well and is very attentive to detail. The binder I am creating in the program is gold. I am ready to tackle any challenge that comes my way since I started working with the program. The best part of the entire program is Misty (the dog) she is such a great dog that I got my very own Misty (Snow my dog that is the same breed as Misty). Misty is always there to give you support in even your toughest of days. I know the program works and I am proof.
Thank you, Andrew Rosz!

Dear Andrew… Thank you for being my teacher but also my friend (even though we have not yet broken bread but I hope that will happen soon). I came to you with 15 years of executive level experience but no accounting or finance skills. I am fortunate to see the exponential growth of my professional development since we started working together. You initially told me that learning the knowledge for the CPA exam would not be completed in months and you were right. It has been a long and sometimes frustrating road but the end results are worth their weight in gold. Before starting my training with you, I was a very good operationalist and strategist. Now I am top rate executive with the operational, strategic and financial skills sets required to be a 1%-er (as you call it). Despite still being a way away from completing my exams, I can say that my philosophy has evolved from only caring about the destination to now enjoying the journey upon which to get there. I am so honored to study under you and enjoy our discussions about accounting, economics and career development. I leave you with one last tidbit: 5 out of 4 people struggle with math. Your friend, Josh
